Conditions for Equipment and Furniture Rental

Article 1 – Order

All our prices are exclusive of VAT for the duration of an exhibition or for a maximum period of 15 days.
To be recorded, all orders must be placed in writing, by email, or online on our website: https://caroliexpo.mc in the form of a purchase order. Orders will only be validated upon receipt of full payment, except where a contractual agreement has been made with our sales department.
A fixed fee of 40 euros (excluding VAT) will be charged to the debtor for any late payment.
Orders must be received no later than 20 working days before the event date.
Any order placed from the first day of assembly will be subject to a 20% surcharge on the current rate.
In case of force majeure, Caroli Expo reserves the right to provide equivalent furniture in place of the ordered items to ensure identical use.
Any canceled order will be invoiced unless the cancellation is received 20 working days before the delivery date.

Article 2 – Replacement / Cancellation

Due to stock availability and production lead times, CAROLI may provide furniture of identical quality instead of the ordered items.
The customer is deemed to accept such replacement furniture unless rejected upon receipt of the order confirmation.
Any order cancellation, even partial, remains the responsibility of the customer and will be fully invoiced.
By way of exception, CAROLI may accept a written cancellation, which in any case will result in a cancellation fee invoice corresponding to 20% of the total order including VAT.
After delivery in accordance with the order confirmation, in case of total or partial cancellation of furniture or change of equipment, no deduction will be applied.

Article 3 – Delivery

The stand coordinates must be clearly specified on the purchase order.
Delivery costs are indicated on the purchase order.
Caroli Expo reserves the right to charge additional transport and labor costs if logistical conditions justify it (transport, schedule, etc.).

Article 4 – Insurance

Insurance of the equipment is mandatory. Participation in the insurance covers the renter against the risks of theft (provided a complaint is filed) or damage from the day before the official opening to the day of closure.
Refusal of insurance implies full responsibility of the renter in case of damage or loss of the equipment.

Article 5 – Security Deposit

The furniture removed by the customer is subject to a security deposit, and a deposit by check may be required at the time of order.
This deposit will be returned to the customer after recovery, verification, and full payment of the equipment. It will be cashed by our company in case of problems related to the return of the equipment (late return, missing items, damage, etc.).

Article 6 – Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for the rented equipment from delivery to return. The equipment must be used according to its intended purpose, and nothing must be done or allowed that could damage it.
The customer agrees to use the equipment in covered areas, protected from water infiltration, except for equipment intended for outdoor use by nature.
The customer is solely responsible for any damage, loss, or theft. Any claim regarding the condition of the equipment must be submitted to Caroli Expo within 24 hours following the opening of the exhibition to be considered.
The rented equipment remains the exclusive property of Caroli Expo and may not be moved or transferred under any circumstances. Equipment may only be used with the approval of Caroli Expo, which reserves the right to reclaim it without notice or compensation and reserves the right to claim damages or take legal action in case of breach of these general conditions.
No modification or transformation may be made to our equipment.
No nailing, adhesive, or painting may be applied to our furniture.
The customer must remove all personal items, documentation, or purchase orders from the furniture. Caroli Expo declines any responsibility for loss or damage of such items. The furniture must be returned at the exhibition’s closing time.

Article 7 – Jurisdiction

Any dispute or litigation will be submitted to the Monaco Court, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Article 8 – Personal Data

Caroli Expo collects and processes customer data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 (see CGV on the website).
